Keenagers
Who We Are
Keenagers is a fellowship of men and women ages 50 plus. Keen means mentally sharp. We’re too old to be Teenagers but not too old to be mentally and spiritually sharp, and so we call ourselves Keenagers. We are people who are not satisfied to just grow old, but who want to grow spiritually. We believe that at any age, our relationship with the Lord can become more intimate. We never think we have learned enough about what God has for us in His written word or that we already know it all.
What We Do
We meet weekly for a thought provoking study and discussion of the Bible. We don’t just learn about what the scriptures say, but we emphasize how it relates to our lives today. We encourage participation in the discussion because we value each person’s sharing of their experiences, opinions, insight, and questions. However, if you want to just listen or are uncomfortable sharing in a group then that is fine too. No matter how much you do or do not know about the Bible or the Christian life, this is the group for you. You will find that we genuinely care about each other as we lift one another’s needs before the Lord and take an interest in what is going on in your life. We have a time of prayer each week and occasionally have fellowship activities besides our weekly meetings at the church.
When and Where
Bible Study is 10:00 until 11:00 AM every Tuesday year around. We do not meet on days when West Branch schools are closed due to the weather. We meet at the church in Room 20. For questions please contact Bill Lasley at 343-1285 or by email Here.
